Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Greenland Hostels website and your stay as a resident. By registering, booking, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Registration is available only to residents who have received a valid, hostel-issued Tenant ID from our Admin or Manager. Tenant IDs are unique enrolment keys issued in person to prevent fraudulent or duplicate registrations, and each ID can be used to register only once.

You agree to provide true, accurate, and completeinformation, including valid Aadhaar ID proof. Providing false, misleading, or another person’s information may result in rejection of your application or termination of your stay without refund of paid fees.

Your resident account activates only after an Admin/Manager verifies your details. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use.

Monthly rent, mess/food charges, and any applicable fees must be paid on or before the due date. Every resident pays one month’s fee as a refundable advance at the time of joining. All fee, advance, and refund matters are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Continued non-payment of dues may lead to suspension of services or termination of stay.

Residents must respect fellow residents, staff, and hostel property, and follow all house rules, including:

• Observing gate/curfew timings and visitor rules for everyone’s safety.
• A strict zero-tolerance policy on alcohol, smoking, illegal substances, ragging, and any form of harassment.
• Cooperating with biometric entry, security checks, and statutory police verification.
• Not causing damage to rooms, furniture, or common facilities.

Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate termination of stay as per hostel policy.

A resident who wishes to vacate must give at least one month’s (30 days) prior notice to the management. Move-out, notice, and the return of the advance are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portal, disrupt the service, or misuse any content. All content, branding, and materials on this site are the property of Greenland Hostels and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Residents are responsible for the safety of their own belongings and valuables. To the extent permitted by law, Greenland Hostels is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under law.

We may suspend or terminate a resident’s stay or account for breach of these Terms, house rules, non-payment of dues, or providing false information. Fee and advance consequences of termination are governed by the Refund Policy.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
